Melissa is a Las Vegas native who shifted from education to real estate. She was working as a childcare director and was in the process of moving from early childhood development to becoming a CCSD teacher. She saw firsthand the power of what real estate can do and decided it was time to make a change for her and her family. 

Melissa is viewed as kind natured and adaptable by her peers. She positions herself to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem. She believes in the phrase of “putting yourself in someone else’s shoes” and this allows her to serve her clients at the highest level. 

Her passion for serving others and the community can be seen in her fostering community fundraisers and events for her children’s schools, South Valley Girls Softball, and The Mendez Team. 

In one of her first transactions, she was able to help a young mother secure a home for her family and from there she knew this was the only path for her. The positive impact that this had on her is something that she hopes to continue to carry with her always as she creates similar opportunities for others.

“Real estate has the ability to create individual and generational wealth for all” she stated. Melissa has a growth mindset and is a student of real estate- always learning and growing so that she can stay abreast of the ever-changing market and can provide opportunities for her clients.  

Outside of real estate you can most likely find her at the softball fields watching a game or supporting the league as she also serves as a team manager for the 10u division or crafting, at a concert, or adventuring somewhere outdoors with her family.
